The Color Blind Kidz

The Color Blind Kids Logo

So my friends band was getting signed and they needed a logo. They toyed with alot of ideas and basically asked me to do one for them. So I did...I found the top picture on there myspace page. And I took the bassists screaming face and decided it would be a good logo idea.
Here's the middle piece. After ALOT of cropping, editing, faking spikes, smoothing lines, building lines, basically ALOT of work...I came up with THIS head out of the top picture.I sent them a couple proofs and this isn't the official one...because they own that now, but here's one of the ideas...which is basically like the one they chose...just a different font and now officially with a S. Please remember everything on here is owned by me. No stealing. This is a bands logo, you would literally be stealing.

Funny Photoshop

Fun with Photoshop!SO-you can take pictures off the Internet on Photoshop and have fun with them too of course! When my friends and I were toying with the idea of having a band, OF COURSE I decided to photoshop there heads onto Larc-en-ceils bodies :P So its obviously not a great example of PERFECT photoshop, I had to fake the hair and stuff...BUT it was fun and I think it turned out pretty darn awesome for just some kicks and giggles. :P

Photoshop Picture Edits :)

Adobe Photoshop :)So I've been doing some photo editing lately. Now it seems like everyone is getting into this because you can do it off of an IPhone and things like this. Well I do it the old fashioned way... :P
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP!!!
The first one here is my nephew Jayden. I blurred out the background. I typed his name and then blurred that, and re-typed his name non-blurred and layered it.Same technique, minus the blurred background. This little guy turned 2 today :) My other nephew, Javari.Me. Turned the picture black and white and typed my favorite Sick Puppies quote and my name. If you turn a photo black and white, to type in color you MUST turn the setting back to RGB color. It wont change the picture :)This is among the most complex one. I cut out the background completely. Then I messed with the lighting and contrast to brighten the picture. Then I blurred the skin to make a pretty complexion. Then I selected the background and filled in with weird color. The spirals were a different unexplainable story. I didn't know you could do them before that moment. Then I just layered her name "Ravyn" and I called it finished.
Pretty much the simplest one EVER. I typed dots and changed the font. lol. Oh and messed with the contrast.
These are pretty fun. Mess with some of your friends myspace and facebook pictures.

Megans Christmas Gift

Megan's MobileThis is a mobile for my best friend Megan. She is a truly caring person and these little boys are HER LIFE!!! So I decided what better idea than to make her a gift with her life on it??? And in her colors, too!I took that really hard cardboard stuff and cut two rectangles the same size and painted then red. While they were drying I was on Adobe Photoshop making the cute pix the right size and putting the names under them. I had painted cross-stitching hoop the night before and it already had a hole drilled in it so it made it really easy to put this together. Made for an marvelous gift for a marvelous person!!! She loved it!!!
**Please note that these are her brothers...NOT her kids...shes only 15, people!!!

Punk Rock Elanee?

No, Elanee doesn't look like this now.
When Elanee wanted to know what this hairstyle would look like on her I was more than happy to help! I scanned in the magazine page and found her picture on the computer. She already had her head tipped at a great angle! I just chopped her head out on Adobe Photo shop and put it on the wanted hair. Her ear was not the same color so instead of darkening it I chopped her ear out of the original picture and made it bigger. I just put it over the models ear. Its not a great Photo shop moment but hey! Elanee learned that the hair didn't really match her personality so she just decided to go with a darker purple etc. This is a great and REALLY fun way to see if a hairstyle will work on you. This whole 'project' was free and only took me about 15 minutes.
