Angel

My Greatest Creation...I think at least! The Angel...or at least thats what my mom and I call it. This was the drawing that made everyone in my family wonder why I was holding out on them. Haha. This has a story behind it. I woke up one day after many weeks of no art and I had had a dream and i was drawing this...so I decided to draw it.
End Of Story.
The face isnt as great as I wanted it to be. I wanted a more intense look to it but I really think that eyes turned out pretty good. My mom loves the face. My family and friends were pretty shocked that I did this at all!
The glowing ball of-of-uhh....light? Represents the light of wisdom and the light of waking up really. Its lighting up this chcik. Its lighting her up right in her face. That'll wake you up!
Her eyes are looking at you to see what have you learned? Have you woken up yet? Do you get it? The design on her eye was just for the heck of it. I just liked the idea of it.
Okay-all my friends are like "Whoa! You did that! Uh...shes naked."
Yes shes naked...nakedness represents voneralbility. Its represents being scared, vonerable and alone. The wing was just something that was there...so there. Haa.

This drawing took me alittle under a week to do and was really my first "real" drawing. It kinda woke me and told me that I COULD do "real" art. This is actually a really big drawing. It is almost 2ft by 1.5 ft. It is done all in colored pencil and a normal pencil.

Christmas Time, Oh Cristmas Time!

Christmas Art Compition

I did this art for holiday art in the paper. This is what I came up with. I think its really cute and it was used as a "business card" type of thing for the paper, which means someone else liked it too! I thought it was very cute. The job on the colored pencil looks pretty horrible here cuz I had to scan it and the colors got really bleached out so I tried to darked it and now the cute little girl looks like a freak. Oh well....

This is a Taking Back Sunday collage on canvas. I painted pin stripes on it in black and red. Then I splattered it in white. I think thats kinda a neat effect! The picture is of Adam Lazzara and the pix on the side are the rest of the band. I just printed that off on photo paper.
The words are lyrics from different songs of theres that I liked. I used actual safety pins on here, I just superglued them on and shut. The guitar is just a something I cut out of cardstock.
Here is one of the lyrics. This whole project took me like 4 hours cuz I had to get all the pictures but it was well worth it! I love it! I get complemts on it alot and people asking me if I can do one for a band they like. I have only done one other and it took soooo long. But I would make more in the future.

Adams Cristmas Gift

A Custom Sketchbook
Here is a custom sketchbook for my other best friend Adam. He is an absolutely amazing guy and he's got some killer talent in art. (Whether or not he wants to admit it) So I thought that it would be really cool to make him a sketchbook that was pretty freakin custom. This is actually funny cuz Meg got me a sketchbook and customized it, too! Great minds think alike!

Here are some of the greatest symbols on this very planet. The 'anarchy' symbol and the symbol most recognized by teens as the 'H.I.M' sign which is also used by Bam Margera (skateboarder/crazy dude...) I just crazily did red and then painted them over in black.

I also got Adam a pack of pencils and other great art supplies that you may use in a sketchbook. The image in the front of the book is an ACEO card that NO I didn't do...I am not that cool. I got it for this project though. Its pretty cool. And the little washer lookin things say 'create' uh...'friendship' and something else kickin like that.

The back is the same color as the front-a really dark purple mixed with black. So a really really dark purple? I of course put a cow stamp and signed it. I also inscribed the front page and was really careful not to dent the words over to the next pages...Who said I never cared!!!!

Megans Christmas Gift

Megan's MobileThis is a mobile for my best friend Megan. She is a truly caring person and these little boys are HER LIFE!!! So I decided what better idea than to make her a gift with her life on it??? And in her colors, too!I took that really hard cardboard stuff and cut two rectangles the same size and painted then red. While they were drying I was on Adobe Photoshop making the cute pix the right size and putting the names under them. I had painted cross-stitching hoop the night before and it already had a hole drilled in it so it made it really easy to put this together. Made for an marvelous gift for a marvelous person!!! She loved it!!!
**Please note that these are her brothers...NOT her kids...shes only 15, people!!!

MUSIC canvas/collage

Fun Collage on canvasThis is another canvas I did not so long ago...I was actually listening to the same band I am as I am typing this...that's kinda weird. Woo Papa Roach! lol...
I painted the whole thing black and then while it was still wet I did a small border effect around the edges in white-well it turned grey, so I had to work with THAT! Oh well-I did dark purple over that when it was dry.

These are cutouts from a free booklet thingy I picked up at Area Records when I was getting my guitar checked out. (Oh-BTW...its dead. I mean GONE!) I just cut them out and diamond glazed them on. Created kind of a cool effect to it. And then I used wooden letters painted with the same purple and super glued them on.

Nick Jonas ACEO

You guessed it...or maybe you didnt???
Its Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers. Its kinda cute, even though he isnt...(if I said that aloud I would probably be jumped by thousands of screaming 10yr old girl...eek!)
Its an ACEO card which means it is 3.5"x2.5" on cardstock and pencil. Did it on a whim and Elanee will probably get it for Ayyamiha or something. Cuz I dont want it!

My First Electric Guitar Painting

I started painting electric guitars in like 7th grade. This is the first one I did. I thought it was great then, everyone did! But now.......uh...it kinda sucks. I've done wayyyy better!
Acrylics and canvas.

'Bananas For Life' Canvas

'Bananas For Life' Canvas
This was done on an average sized standard Walmart canvas. I painted the whole thing black and then when it was all dry I painted in the circles and ovals. I used a stencil for them cuz I did try to make them perfect...and it was strange...
I used a stamp to do the bananas which are just stamped in yellow acrylic paint. I will later put a picture of my friend Mollie and I in there. Cuz we are bananas...inside joke. But a cute canvas!!!

Skater Legs

SkaterI know, I know, you arent supposed to put unfinished art up, but I couldnt help myself! This is for my best friend Adam who happens to skateboard. He doesnt know it and I dont know if I am gonna give it to him yet...so SHHHHH!
I used my feet and my Converse as a model but it could be anyone.
Top of the page: start of the leg. I was inspired to do this after I did my angel picture which isnt on here (along with alot of other stuff) I decided I COULD do it!
This is the bottom of the leg and the shoe. Again-pink Converse as the model...hehe.

I have started to color this one in with colored pencil and it is almost done...BUT! I cant come up with some sort of background for it so I am stuck...ugh.

Any suggestions??? Really...I need them. Just post a comment if you have any ideas???

Girl Scouts Gift Swap

Best Friends Frame

This is an interesting crafty project that I came up with kinda last minute...We needed a gift for a gift swap for a Girl Scout meeting. So I used a canvas and painted it (with acrylics) pink. I made a mat of dark brown and cream so all you have to do is put a great picture of you and your friend in there! The corners hold it in so you wont have to glue or tape it in and it wont wreck your photo! The words are stamped in coordination colors. The flower is also a stamp. Perfect gift!

Girl Scout Thank You Cards

Girl Scout 'Thank You' Cards
My troop leader Bobbie asked me to make custom 'thank you' cards for the places that let us sell cookies there. She asked me to include the colors green and yellow and to have the GS trefoil. I tried a couple different things and decided that graphic art was the best way to go. Easy and fast! So this was what I came up with. Bobbie thanked me and thought it was great! I didnt have to do mass loads of coustom work, everyone was HAPPY!!!

Vayda Painting

Vayda Painting

Here I am in the family room painting. I had this strange idea for a painting... It didn't turn out great. Actually-I think that it kinda sucked but oh well. And yes people that IS a perfectly square stretch canvas. I didn't know they existed, so there. If that doesn't come as a surprise to you...it was to me!

Fun Face

Make-Up Messes! This was actually again awhile ago but I decided to put it on here cuz its pretty cool.

Laying down a funky pattern with teal green eyeliner. Just a freaky design.

Made it perdy with some bright colored eyeshadow.

All you have to do to make it blend is get the brush alittle wet. Then the colors just blend together. This was sooo fun! Of course we didn't go anywhere but we had fun doing the makeup!

Ryan Ross Portrait

This is my most recent drawing. It is Ryan Ross from Panic At The Disco.I decided to do this for a friend because I really want to get more into portraits. I will have more up soon because I plan to do one for my best friend Megan and her mom.
I thought it turned out pretty darn well. This was on January 19, 2009 and I think really is the first thing I drew in 2009.

So cute!!!
